The East Carolina Musical Arts Education Foundation was formed in 1998 to maintain and promote the C.B. Fisk opus 126 pipe organ of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church as a cultural treasure for the benefit of Greenville and other communities throughout Eastern North Carolina, through concerts, educational programming, and collaborative musical ventures. The Fisk organ, a unique piece of musical and technical craftsmanship, is one of Eastern North Carolina's cultural treasures. It is our mission to open its resources to as wide an audience as possible, and to encourage continued interest in and performance of organ and choral music.
Friends of the Fisk are a key part of the “ECMAEF family” that has virtual ownership of Opus 126. The East Carolina Musical Arts Education Foundation is a key player in helping St. Paul's Episcopal Church ensure the well-being of this magnificent instrument. By becoming one of our Friends, you participate in the care of the Fisk by virtue of your financial support, as well as contributing to its place in East Carolina's wider cultural scene. Our programs consist of concerts and workshops designed to educate - as well as entertain - our patrons. Your financial support will help ensure our ability to fund the kind of programs that we plan to bring to Greenville each music season.
